IT Services & Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for an IT services and infrastructure manager with broad technical competences in the IT infrastructure domain but as well project management experiences.  We are looking for a people manager who likes to collaborate with local and international teams and has proven to drive change.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Daily management of a team of 8-10 IT-staff (project managers, technical experts and support engineers)
  • Collaboration with other team(s) and IT management for strategy and planning of value-creation, life-cycle and sunset projects 
  • Identification, coordination and planning of business needs, projects and project resources from within the team and IT Program Board. Reporting regularly on project status and resource availability  
  • Organization of IT Service Management: management of the service desk (1st line) team, management of local 2nd line experts, collaboration with remote 2nd line experts and 3rd line providers, management of the knowledge database and taking the lead in crisis management.
  • Ensure a high-level IT service and customer support to the business 
  • Monitor and report on agreed KPI/SLA and plan / train accordingly to ensure KPI/SLA are met
  • Ensure a good cooperation with other departments such as stores, finance, supply chain, etc., international teams and act as both an ambassador for the team and a bridge between business and IT. 
  • Strong coordination with 3rd parties, both internal & remote international teams 
  • Active involvement in IT-governance and business procedures regarding asset- and service management, security, project management etc
  • Proactively discover new (group) IT solutions and make proposals to improve business processes
  • Identification of necessary training, development areas and coaching needs
  • Support, development and motivation of your team members
  • You will report directly to the IM/IT Manager


Must Haves

  • ITIL Certification
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience in People Management

Other Requirements

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English both written and verbal 
  • You have a broad and profound knowledge of IT systems and IT processes.
  • You have experience in IT infrastructure and service management with technical experience
  • You have a hands-on and solution-oriented mentality that results in a pro-active approach
  • You have experience with creation of outcome driven solution proposals and business case thinking is required
  • You are familiar with and committed to agile methodologies (OKR, Kanban, SCRUM etc.) 
  • You have strong communication skills and a good understanding of interpersonal & intrapersonal dimensions and competences
  • You are customer- and service minded to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous business operations
  • You have experience working with contractors, vendors, suppliers and value added resellers
  • You have experience in collaboration with / management of remote teams in an international environment
  • You have proven experience in successfully managing projects and / or programs
  • You do not have a nine-to-five mentality
  • You are able to deal with stress & change
  • You have good organization skills with an eye for detail
  • You are a motivating leader but able to work on the same level of your direct reports as team player
  • You are a generalist and have a good knowledge of Windows server and client systems, Active Directory, VMWare, Storage systems, LAN/WAN/WLAN/Voice concepts and equipment, IT security concepts
